Steve Geller (Ryan’s Dad)

I started playing lacrosse for the Scottsdale Eagles when I was in the 6th grade. It was something I knew I wanted to get good at and Coach Kelly could tell that too. I decided to become a defender but I hadn’t hit my growth spurt yet so my defensive pole was bigger than me. As coach said “Ryan your desire is bigger than your Body! You need them to catch up.” I guess that was his way of saying I needed to learn to game. Over the years I went from the little guy who just wanted to try hard to a leader and captain for 2 years.
